“I feel like where I’m at now and where I could’ve been, this is an accomplishment, especially growing up where I grew up.”
Muzi Blaz3 represents the new generation of rap/hip-hop for the record label K-Town Records. “I’m more like the shorty, you dig. "I feel like I’m the one who can get the crowd hyped, you know get em’ warmed up, that’s why I’m Muzi Blaze.” Raised on on the Westside of Chicago, Muzi has always been in love with the music. He started rapping at the age of 7 and at the age of 14 Muzi started writing his own music. He continued to freestyle and ended up making his first mixtape titled "No Restricitions" at the age of 16.
"I was just into freestyling because my guy would always promote it, he would be like come on we don’t got that much time so lets freestyle sumthin, so its not like I wasn’t into writing I was just around people who would freestyle.”
At the time Muzi was 16 years old, he was introduced to the CEO of K-Town Records as well as the rap group “3800” and on the same day they recorded music together. Now Muzi is currently releasing his first solo mixtape under K-Town Records, he has an official music video for his street anthem “BlackOut”, and he is currently getting another official video together for the club anthem “8 Legged Freak”. Also you can expect another Muzi Blaz3 mixtape coming soon and look forward to him on the upcoming K-Town Records compilation mixtape which will feature label mates 3800, Swine, Nova Illa, Radio Smackz, Ricky Tan, & Donny Brachs. There is a lot of work being put in as Muzi get his visuals together so the streets can not only see but also get to know Muzi Blaz3.
